Stickler Syndrome
Stickler Syndrome is an inherited disorder caused by mutations in the collagen gene that affects the face, eyes, ears, joints, bones, and in some cases, the heart. Individuals with this disorder have physical features called Robin Syndrome. These features include; a U or V-shaped cleft palate with an enlarged tongue and smaller jaw. Other Symptoms include severenearsightedness in the eyes, hearing loss, and excessive joint flexibility.
