Please omit “mental retardation” from your list - just because she cannot speak and is severely dyspraxic, does not mean she is mentally retarded. My daughter has completed her school leaving certificate in 4 subjects, and is attempting a university degree. She types using head-pointer - very slowly.
Labeling Rett girls and women as mentally retarded consigns them to a life of boredom with little fulfillment.

My apologies Jill I didn’t mean that in an offensive manner nor was I trying to imply thatfemales with Rett are subjected to a life of boredom.I am delighted to hear about your daughter’s accomplishments.I’m very pleased to hear your daughter and many other women aren’t letting Rett stop them from achieving their goals.I have omitted those terms from this post.Once again I meant no harm or disrespect.
